It's hard to believe that we are into January 2017 already. The year is flying by and each day is holding a different memory for me.
The Christmas program was awesome. The students put a lot of time and talent into it. Of everything that is done in music, I have to say that I will miss this. Fifth grade will be starting keyboard, so making sure that notes on the staff are known is going to be very important. Sixth grade have been busy getting guitars tuned up, and will start learning notes and playing songs. Third and fourth grade will be continuting on their recorders. They are doing some really good playing. Second grade will be starting on Resonator Bells, to learn more about rhythm, learn names of notes, where they are on the staff, and how to play them on the bells. First, and Kindergarten will continue to learn more about music from other contries, through singing, dancing, and playing games. Just to let you know, I have and do enjoy teaching your children, and will walk away with lots of memories. Keep me in your prayers, as I keep you in mind. Have a wonderful 2017. Mrs. Rybaski |
